Spark by ClickBank Review Summary

  • Name: Spark by ClickBank
  • Website:
  • Founders: ClikBank
  • Price: $47/month for the training, and you need money to spend on different tools and paid ads.
  • Legit/Scam: Legit

Summary: Spark by ClickBank is a generic training program with short video lessons that give you a general idea on making money with ClickBank through affiliate marketing and selling digital products.

The program is legit, but expensive, and doesn’t provide full, hands-on training material for building a complete business from scratch.

What Is Spark by ClickBank?

Spark is a membership training program that was created by ClickBank, in order to teach beginners how to use the CB marketplace to sell digital products of their own, or to promote others’ products as affiliates and make commissions.

The program acts like a replacement of the ClickBank University program, which disappeared all of a sudden.

Inside The Spark by ClickBank

The Spark program by ClickBank is divided into 17 different courses, called the Spark 100 Level Courses, each teaches a certain aspect of online marketing and online businesses in few video lessons, as follows:

Course 1: First Steps

The first course of the Spark by ClickBank program shows you a tour inside the members’ area, and guides you on how to benefit from the courses in the program.

Spark by ClickBank Courses

Course 2: Internet Marketing 101

This course is an introduction to the internet marketing world, and in it, you will learn the basic terminology that is related to this field, such as learning what a CTR is, marketing funnels, conversions, email marketing, content, …etc.

This is in addition to learning the main concepts of performance marketing, affiliate marketing, and direct response marketing, paid traffic, organic traffic, …etc.

Course 3: How ClickBank Fits in

Here you will learn about how you can benefit from the ClickBank marketplace in order to find products to sell as an affiliate.

Course 4: Product Owners

This course teaches you how you can benefit from the CB marketplace by listing your own product and find affiliates to sell it for you, and how to make your product attractive to affiliates.

Course 5: Affiliate Marketing

Here you will learn in more detail what affiliate marketing is and how it works.

Course 6: Direct Response Psychology

In this Spark course you learn how to use the direct response marketing strategy in order to sell products to your target audience, using the PAS formula, which stands for:

  • Problem.
  • Agitate.
  • Solution.

Simply, you play with people’s emotions by showing them a problem and trying to get them nervous and making them feel bad unless they solve it, then you show them the solution, which is a product that they need to buy in order for you to make money.

Course 7: Compliance

Here you learn what the FTC requirements are in order for you, the internet marketer to comply with, so that you don’t fall with legal issues.

Course 8: What Makes an Online Offer

Here you will learn the components of a marketing funnel, which you need in order to offer a product to your target audience, which include:

  • The ad copy.
  • Landing pages.
  • The lead magnet.
  • Email followup messages.
  • Affiliate links.
  • Retargeting ads.
  • The sales copy.
  • Offer page.
  • Order form.
  • Thank you page.

Course 9: Content Types

This courses teaches you the different types of content that you can use in order to communicate with your audience and show them the products you promote, such as:

  • Video content.
  • Blog posts.
  • Long form content.
  • Ebooks.
  • White papers.
  • Case studies.
  • Infographics.
  • Checklists and templates.

Each one of these content types might be suitable to target a certain audience and offer them a certain product.

Course 10: The Tools of Digital Marketing

Here you learn how to use certain tools in order to create the different parts of your marketing and sales funnels, such as:

  • Email autoresponders.
  • Landing page builders.
  • Graphic tools.
  • Link click tracking tools.

Email Marketing Spark Course

Course 11: Outsourcing

In this course of Spark by CB, you learn about some of the popular online marketplaces such as Fiverr, Upwork, and 99Designs, where you can look for freelancers and hire them to do certain tasks for you, such as:

  • Creating content.
  • Video editing.
  • Graphic design.
  • Voice over.
  • …etc.

Course 12: Understanding Memberships

In this course, you learn how to build a membership site that gets people to keep paying you on monthly basis, so that you increase the LTV of every customer and provide a more sustainable income for yourself.

Course 13: Affiliate Quickstart Guide Part 1

In this short course, you learn how to navigate the CB marketplace in order to find offers to promote as an affiliate, based on the category or niche you want to work with.

Course 14: Affiliate Quickstart Guide Part 2

This course shows you how to use email marketing for promoting affiliate offers, by building an opt-in form, where you collect emails from your audience in exchange of a certain lead magnet, and connecting your list with an autoresponder like AWeber or GetResponse, in order to send automated messages that contain promotions.

You also learn some tips on getting free traffic without paying for ads, but it is not enough in my opinion for building a sustainable business, unlike what you learn at Wealthy Affiliate, the number 1 place for learning affiliate marketing.

Course 15: Creating Your First Ad

This course contains few short videos that breakdown the process of using paid advertising for your affiliate promotions, by choosing the right channel, researching your audience, creating and running your ads, optimizing and scaling.

The issue here is that these are very short videos that are not enough for you to master paid traffic methods with them, unlike Frank’s Savage Affiliates course that teaches many ways of paid advertising for affiliates.

Course 16: Digital Product Quickstart Guide Part 1

This course, again, consists of few short videos that give you a general explanation on how to find ideas for digital products to create and sell by yourself on the ClickBank marketplace as a vendor, and how to price them.

Course 17: Digital Product Quickstart Guide Part 2

Another few short lessons that tell you the few steps of creating a sales page, checkout page, and thank you page, launching your product on the marketplace, how to maximize your revenue through upsells, and how to get CB affiliates to promote your product.

These are short videos that are not really enough for you to do stuff effectively.

For example, you need learn copywriting in order to write an effective, high-converting sales page, which is something that cannot be taught in a 4-minute video like the one in the Spark course.

Spark by ClickBank Price

Spark by ClickBank costs $47 per month to join and keep your membership, but in my opinion, that’s really expensive, as the material is very thin and generic, and if you want to do the actual work, you would need to join other programs to learn certain skills in details.

Is Spark by ClickBank Worth it?

In my opinion, Spark by ClickBank is not really worth the price, especially is that you need to pay on monthly basis in order to keep access to the members” area.

It is better to join my recommended alternative in the last section of this ClickBank Spark review, in order to learn affiliate marketing in a more comprehensive detail, which costs almost the same as Spark, but it provides a comprehensive training, in addition to all the tools you need for building your business without any additional fees.

If you still want to join Spark by Clickbank, then you can join it and pay for the first month, learn everything they teach you, and then cancel your membership before the next month fees are applicable.

What I Like about Spark by ClickBank

  • It is related to affiliate marketing and selling digital products, which are legitimate business models.
  • There’s a 30-day money back guarantee.

What I Don’t Like about Spark by ClickBank

  • It contains general information about every topic, not enough to actually do the work in details, and you would need to learn from other courses if you want to apply anything.
  • It is expensive to what it provides.

Who Is Spark by ClickBank for?

Spark by ClickBank can be good for those looking for an introduction on online businesses, especially affiliate businesses, and selling digital products.

But that’s all, it is not enough for building a complete, income-generating business from scratch.

Spark by ClickBank Support

The ClickBank Spark program is still new, and there’s not enough feedback about the support, but they promise on the sales page, that in addition to the 17 courses available, there are:

  • Live Q&A sessions with Spark instructors.
  • Exclusive webinars by industry experts.
  • Weekly insights and trend reports.
  • A private Spark online community.

But for example, for the tools you need to use, you need to get the support for each tool from its provider, unlike the recommended alternative in the last section of this Spark review below.

Conclusion – Is Spark by ClickBank a Scam or Legit?

Spark by ClickBank is a legitimate training program for getting an idea on affiliate marketing and selling digital products, but it is expensive and not enough for building a complete online business.

  • Name: Spark by ClickBank
  • Website:
  • Founders: ClikBank
  • Price: $47/month for the training, and you need money to spend on different tools and paid ads.
  • Legit/Scam: Legit

Overall Rating: 80 of 100 (Check out my #1 recommendation to learn internet marketing 97 of 100)

If you want to make money online, and especially with affiliate marketing, my favorite model, then the following section will tell you where to go in order to find every thing you need for starting your business and growing it the right way.

A Better, Proven-to-Work Alternative to Spark by ClickBank?

My alternative to Spark by ClickBank is a program that offers a more comprehensive, step-by-step training with full walkthrough’s, and provides all the tools you need for building your business, in addition to the weekly expert webinars and the amazing community support.

And all of that for a similar cost to what Spark costs.

And remember, with Spark, you will need to join another program anyway because Spark doesn’t teach the different skills you need in details, and you will need to pay for external tools if you join Spark by CB.

And this program is a platform and great community that is called Wealthy Affiliate.

This platform is the best place to go if you want to learn internet marketing and find everything you need in one place, for no additional fees on top of the original membership fee.

Click here to read my review of Wealthy Affiliate, and you will see from there, how you can start with the free membership first before paying anything.

Or just click here to get started with the free membership and training now!
