And Merlin promises that you can, as a beginner, make around $1,000 a day with this method using only a simple 2-page website and email messages, which is the method that the founder of the program claims to make him up to $14k a day.

 

Who Is Merlin Holmes, Founder Of 1K A Day Fast Track System?

Merlin Holmes is an affiliate marketer who claims that he made over 150 Million dollars with affiliate marketing over the past fifteen years.

This is after he had already tried to make money and failed as a salesman, network marketer, MLM companies’ member, and some other methods.

 

Although there’s no solid proof on these claims other than these claims and some screenshots that he shares from his affiliate accounts at some affiliate networks, such as ClickBank for example, but it is clear from The Fast Tracks webinar that Merlin Holmes is not a scam as he knows what he talks about.

 

But still, claiming that he’s a super affiliate, I would expect to see his name on ClickBank’s leader board that lists the top 10 affiliates, but he doesn’t exist there.

In any case, even if he made this money ($150M), it is important to know that this is not all profit, as the method he teaches you in the 1K A Day Fast Track course relies on using paid tools and paid advertising networks, and it requires investing money in advance before getting profitable.

But overall, from the free webinar, it’s clear that Merlin really knows how to make money with affiliate marketing.

As mentioned earlier, the 1K A Day Fast Track relies on doing affiliate marketing to make money online.

And affiliate marketing is a legit model that allows you to promote others’ products through a unique link (Affiliate Link), and get a commission on every sale that you bring through your link.

And it is my favorite way of making money online, and there are many ways of doing it such as: building a website and creating content to promote the affiliate products and sharing your affiliate link, and there are many ways for doing affiliate marketing without a website like doing affiliate marketing on YouTube, or using social media marketing platforms and ads, Search ads on Google, and many other methods.

However, the method that is taught by Merlin Holmes is as follows:

Step 1 – Find The Top Affiliate offers on Affiliate Networks & Use Their Sales Page to Create Your Ad Copy

To do this, you can go to an online marketplace like ClickBank and find what offers are getting the most of the sales, which means that their sales pages work very well.

And from their effective sales pages, you can take some photos or scripts to create you own banner ads.

Step 2 – Create a Compelling Poll That Would Make People Take a Small Action as Clicking on One of The Options

This step relies on the curiosity, interactive marketing and micro-commitment principles, which means that you need to make your potential customer interact with the ads you create even if it means clicking on one simple button that won’t make them pay money at the beginning.

This will make them feel more comfortable with your offer and might help make them buy what you promote later on.

For this step, you need to create a landing page using a paid tool like ClickFunnels in order to create the poll/question and add the options for them to choose from.

And when people click on one of the button to find the answer, they will find a pop-up where they are requested to enter their email address, so that you can build an email list to people in the space/market of the offer you are promoting.

Step 3 – They Enter Their Email Addresses & Get Redirected to The Offer You Are Promoting

After someone enters their email address, you now have their email in a list that you build using an email autoresponder like GetResponse, and the potential customer gets redirected automatically to the sales page of the offer you are promoting to them.

Step 4 – If They Buy The Product, You Make Money Immediately, and You Can Keep Promoting Other Products to Them Through Email

After they are redirected to the offer page, they might purchase the product you promoted and you would make a commission, and they might not buy it and you would make nothing.

 

However, either way, you have already collected their email address and you can keep promoting to them other products in the same industry that they might need, and you would make money on the long run.

And that’s exactly how the 1K A Day Fast Track System works.

It basically works on using paid display ads, interactive landing pages and email automation in order to build an email list and promote affiliate offers.

What Is New About The 1K A Day Fast Track System?

The method of using landing pages and email marketing to promote affiliate offers is well-known and many others teaches.

And the principle of directing people directly to the affiliate offer after they enter email is also known and it was mainly taught by Anik Singal in his Lurn Insider program, and it is called the “Thank You Page Method”.

However, what is new about the 1K A Day Fast Track system is that Merlin teaches you to use interactive (poll/question based) landing pages that would make people make a choice from few options, which is proven to be more effective than classic landing pages in many markets such as: health and fitness, finance, games, education and many other markets.

Also, the Fast Track System relies on using unpopular display advertising platform that doesn’t cost as much as Facebook as taught in the Commission Hero course for example.

This is a step-by-step training course that shows you in detail how to apply the Fast Track System in order to make money with affiliate marketing, and it consists of the following modules/weeks:

Week #1 – How to Get Quick $400 Commissions During The First Few Days (As A Beginner)

This is really unrealistic because affiliate marketing, and all other money making methods doesn’t work so quickly, especially if you want to promote expensive products that pay $400 affiliate commissions.

This mainly means that Merlin wants you to promote the very same course you have just purchased (The Fast Tracks System) in order to make big commissions quickly.

This is the main thing that I don’t like about this program, because it doesn’t make sense to promote an expensive program to others while you still haven’t gone through it and made results by yourself.

Week #2 – Setting Up More Commission Accounts & Putting Everything in Place

Here you will learn how to find the best converting offers that have affiliate programs, signup as an affiliate and get your links in order to start promoting their products.

There are many ways that you can do this and I have written a guide on how to find affiliate programs that you can check out.

Week #3 – Development of Your First Poll

Here you will learn how to create your first landing page that contains a poll regarding the offer you have chosen to promote, mainly using an expensive software that is called ClickFunnels which costs $97/month, but you can use other tools like free WordPress plugins.

Week #4 – Creating Your Automated Selling Systems

This week is about teaching you how to setup an email autoresponder and connect it to your landing page, and how to setup automated email messages that would be sent to every person who enters their email into your landing page, and the future messages will promote other products to them so that you make long-term income.

Week #5 – Creating Your First Money Making Ad

This is where you create your first banner ad for the first offer you want to promote, and you will learn how to use a display ad network called “Revcontent” in order to show your ads to people who might be interested in the offers you promote.

This means that you have to deposit at least $100 in advance in order to have your ads start showing to people.

Merlin recommends this ad network as an alternative to other advertising platforms such as Facebook, Google, Yahoo and others because you can get views and clicks on your ads for a lower price with Revcontent.

But remember that you still need to test the ads and do the optimization before you become profitable, which means that you need a tracking software, which usually costs money starting from $17/month with Clickmagick, or $69-$999/month with Voluum, but Bemob offers a free plan.

Week #6 – Planning Out Future Income Streams

This week is about finding other effective affiliate offers that not many people know about and signing up for them in order to have more offers to promote to your email list and make more money on the long run.

2 – 1K A Day Fast Track Bonuses: Done-For-You Ads, Landing Pages & Email Campaigns

In the “live” webinar, Merlin keeps talking about the bonuses for around an hour, which is annoying, so, I will list them for you here so that you don’t have to go through the complete webinar:

Bonus #1 – Proven Landing Page Templates:

These landing pages that Merlin has already made money with when promoting some offers.

In order to use them, you need an expensive software that is called ClickFunnels, which costs $97-$297/month depending on the plan you choose.

While this is a good idea as these pages are proven to be effective, but the main issue with anything that is done-for-you, is that everyone who purchased the 1K A Day Fast Track System will use them as well, and this will make them ineffective after a while, especially that Merlin himself has already used them for a long time.

Bonus #2 – Secret Thank You Page Cash Generator Script:

This is a template of a “Thank you page” that is written in a way that is supposed to increase conversion by convincing people to take action after they enter their email.

Bonus #3 – Full Email Templates & Training:

Done-for-you email templates that are written to promote other products in the same market, in addition to a training on email marketing in general.

Again, the problem with done-for-you emails is that people will receive them from others who purchased the 1K A Day Fast Track program and they will get burned out.

And even Google and other email service providers will probably send them to the spam folder if you don’t make some changes in the text and title of the emails in order to make them unique.

Bonus #4 – Titan of Traffic Training System:

This is a training on how to start, tune and optimize traffic for your marketing campaigns using different traffic sources such as: solo ads, Facebook ads, PPC ads and other methods.

Bonus #5 – Phone Consulatation for First 5:

Merlin promises that he would give a 1-hour phone consultation for the first 5 people would join his course today, but since the webinar is repeated every 15 or 30 minutes, this means that it is impossible to fulfill this bonus because there will be many “first 5” within the same day.

This is usually a tactic that is used to encourage you to take action and buy the course without thinking too much.

Bonus #6 – Ads Pack, $$ Pump & Partner Support:

This is a set of done-for-you ads, and probably ads to promote the Fast Track System as a partner.

Bonus #7 – Free 2nd Login for a Partner:

Here Merlin will give you access credentials for a second person if you want someone else to work with you and learn from the training and tools without using your user name and password.

Bonus #8 – Secret Package FedEx to Your Door:

This is undisclosed, but it is supposed to be a personalized “prize” or something as a “thank you” for purchasing the Fast Track training program.

This is something you should be aware of, because other reviews tell you that you can just ask for a refund for the Fast Track System and you will get it, and this is what Merlin Holmes says in the webinar, but there’s something unclear to me no one talks about.

There’s a possibility that The 1K A Day Fast Track money back guarantee is CONDITIONAL!

In their refund policy, they say clearly that you need to go through the whole 1K A Day Fast Track training, apply everything taught, and not make any commission before you ask for the refund, and all of that within the first 30 days of joining the program.

And more, you need to provide evidence and documents that you did all of that!

You can bring evidence that you made ads and landing pages and paid for ads, but how can you bring a document that you finished the video course? Doesn’t make sense!

Also, the refund policy says that only if you made no commissions at all you can ask for the refund.

But making commissions doesn’t necessarily mean that you made a profit. What if you spend $500 on ads and tools within the first month and made commissions of only $100?

Doesn’t seem profitable to me, and you can’t ask for a refund if this happened.

And above all, they tell you that you even with providing all evidences, you still might not quality for the refund which is up to them to decide if they would give it to you or not!

And worst of all, Merlin isn’t telling you that clearly in the live webinar.

He tells you that if don’t like the system for any reason, you can get a 100% refund, but he never mentions that they have conditions that are almost impossible to fulfill in order to get the refund.

Want more? The refund policy mentioned that Merlin reserves the right to deny any student and kick him/her out from the program and refund him, but the refund policy says that some of what you pay are considered as application fees, and if Merlin kicks you out of the program, you won’t be refunded for those fees.

Imagine this for a second: You join a $997 program, and the owner of the program reserves the right of kicking you out of the program within the first thirty days and NOT giving you all of your money back?!

Does This Mean That The Fast Tracks System Doesn’t Work or That Merlin Holmes Is a Scam?

No, The Fast Tracks System by Merlin Holmes works, but you need to put the effort and time in order to make it work for you.

Merlin Holmes is legit, but I don’t like the confusion about the refund policy.

In my opinion, if you want to purchase the 1K A Day Fast Track training course, or any other course, then consider purchasing it without a money back guarantee.

This is because the moment you buy something depending on the money back guarantee, it probably will not make you serious while trying it.

7 Things I Don’t Like About 1K A Day Fast Track System

1 – The Unclear Refund Policy

As I explained in the previous section, Merlin says in the webinar that the money back guarantee is unconditional, but the refund policy of the Fast Track System says that it is conditional, and it is almost impossible to fulfill the conditions in order to request a refund, and even after that, it is completely up to them to decide whether to refund you or not.

This is similar to what happens in many other expensive programs.

However, I know that some people actually got a refund, which means that it is not impossible to do so.

2 – The Conditions To Keep You In The Program

Merlin mentioned that he might kick you out of the program within the first month if you don’t abide by his conditions, which is something very similar to what John Crestani says in the webinar of the Super Affiliate System.

The conditions include the fact that you need to work with his “vetted vendors”.

What if you don’t want to promote a specific product because you don’t believe in it and you feel that it is a scam? He will force you to promote it or make you leave the program.

And the problem, as I mentioned earlier, if Merlin kicks you out of the Fast Track system, he doesn’t refund you for the application fees which are part of the whole price of the program, and they don’t disclose how much exactly they are.

What if they are equal to $500 for example, you will lose half of what you paid.

3 – The High Cost of The Fast Track System

Let’s be clear, $997 is not something everyone can afford, especially when starting online.

4 – The Expensive Tools

In addition to the cost of the program, you will need to use an expensive software that costs $97/month for the lowest plan in order to create the poll pages, and $15/month as a start for the email software, especially if you want to use the done-for-you landing pages provided by Merlin Holmes.

While at my #1 recommendation to learn affiliate marketing, you get the complete training, weekly live webinars, tools, web hosting for up to 10 websites, and much more, and all of that for less than half of what you will pay only for the tools you will need for the Fast Track System.

5 – Paid Ads Might Not Always Be Beginner-Friendly

Merlin promotes his method as a way with which a beginner might be able to make $1k/day within the first month, which is not really that easy.

This method relies on paid ads, which needs a lost of testing, tracking and optimization before you make any profit and upscale your business.

If you are short on money, then I always recommend that you start with free traffic methods for doing affiliate marketing, like the one taught at Wealthy Affiliate and Savage Affiliates.

6 – Everything Is Done-For-You! Then What Would You Do?

Although having somethings done-for-you could help a little bit, but this is not a long-term approach because, as I explained earlier, if you use the same ads, landing pages and email templates to promote the same offers like everybody else will do after they joined the Fast Track System, then the market will become saturated with these templates and they won’t really work.

If you want to succeed with affiliate marketing, you need to learn how to research the market, find affiliate programs, find marketing opportunities, create relevant and useful content to promote the offers and much more.

That’s how you make money on the long run, you need to learn how to fish!

7 – You Might Be Asked to Promote Fast Track System to Others

Merlin says that the first week of the training you will learn how to make $400 commissions instantly!

That doesn’t make sense if you want to promote offers in the weight loss market that don’t even cost $100.

Then what will happen here?

Probably, you will be asked to promote the same program, 1K A Day Fast Track System as an affiliate (partner).

And if you want to make fast commissions from a program that costs $997 to join, then you probably need to promote it those who trust you like your family members or friends!
